This is a ceremony to bring us fully into our loving hearts with the beautiful medicines of Hawthorn and Cacao. Hawthorn has been used throughout the ages as a cardio tonic but it is also a very powerful 'energy medicine' for the heart. It helps open the heart to giving and receiving love and can hold the heart during times of emotional stress. It encourages self-love and self-acceptance and encourages a truly open hearted state. A member of the Rose family this plant is used energetically for protection of the heart allows one to access hope, trust, love, and forgiveness.
Cacao encourages us to loosen the grips around our heart and disperse any energetic blockages we may be carrying. She helps us to surrender up that which no longer serves to create space for the new. Cacao empowers us to connect more deeply and effortlessly to our own intuition and heart wisdom and allows us to access realms that are often unavailable to us when we are not still and present.
Always gentle and gracious these medicines work together beautifully to help heal and open our hearts.
Together we will drink ceremonial grade cacao from the Peruvian Andes infused with Hawthorn. I will lead you on a short meditation before you set off on a sound journey with the gong and other instruments as your guide. There is nothing for you to do but surrender and receive.
++ If you are sensitive to cacao but would still like to join then let me know in advance and you can have a Hawthorn tea without the cacao.++
Comforting rose tea and healthy biscuits will be provided after the ceremony as we enjoy some grounding, integration time together.
Please bring water and a blanket for extra cosiness. I look forward to sharing these beautiful medicines with you.

CONSIDERATIONS & CONTRAINDICATIONS:
- Cacao contains theobromine which stimulates the system much in the same way as caffeine can. If you have a sensitivity to caffeine then please consult with me and we will discuss if you can still participate and have a very low dosage.
- Cacao can react with anti depressants causing headaches so please let me know if you are on any medication before booking.
Gong is not recommended for the following...
- Women in the first trimester of pregnancy
- Children under the age of thirteen.
- Those experiencing extreme mental health conditions.
